Tvet Colleges Registration 2025/2026

Are you a new student or a returning student? Tvet Colleges Registration will be open for all students to register for a course at all TVET colleges.

It’s important to note that TVET colleges have different registration processes depending on the college and the course you are interested in. Generally, registration for the first semester begins on January 5th and for the second semester in July. However, it’s advisable to check with the specific TVET college you’re interested in for their registration dates and requirements.

To register for a course at a TVET college in South Africa, you’ll need to meet certain requirements. These typically include a minimum age requirement (usually 16 years or older), a certain level of education (such as a Grade 9 certificate or higher), and sometimes specific subject requirements depending on the course you’re interested in.

Registration Process For Returning Students

All returning students should collect their examination results at their campuses in January. ( Most of the Tvet Colleges Cullender starts in January)
All qualifying students undergo the NSFAS application process.
All students who meet the progression criteria will be allowed to register at their respective levels.

NB: The registration fee is non-refundable:

TVET Colleges operates a cashless system. All cash and cheque payments are to be deposited into the respective bank account of the college.

First-Time Applications: 1st Time Students

What do you need for the placement tests? (only NCV L2 students)

The original or a certified copy of your ID.
The original or a certified copy of your latest school report/qualification.
R100 application fee.
Complete the placement assessment.

What do you need to register?

The original or a certified copy of your ID.

Students not qualifying for a bursary must deposit 25% of their fees on registration.
Students not qualifying for a bursary must complete and sign a student fee contract (person responsible for payment of the tuition fees).
Students qualifying for a bursary must have a provisional bursary acceptance letter and Placement letter.

CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION

Cancellation of registration must be done in writing, within one week of the commencement of classes.

Failing to do this, learners will be held liable for the full cost of tuition fees.

CLASS FEES

Class fees are subject to change and are obtainable on request from campuses & Central Office.

REFUNDS

Refunds will only be considered in the following instances:

Death of a learner (Full Payment)

Transfer to another educational institution (confirmed by the institution) in writing

Subject/programme no longer offered

Subject clashes due to the changes in the timetable

PLEASE STRICTLY NO CASH SHOULD BE GIVEN TO ANY STAFF MEMBER OF THE COLLEGE OR ANY OTHER PERSON UPON REGISTRATION.
