Wallace Community College is an Alabama community college located near Dothan. Since 1969, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools’ Commission on Colleges has accredited the college, which has 3,958 students.
Wallace provides a variety of educational options and collaborates closely with local businesses and industry partners to provide students with hands-on experience. Wallace is well recognized for its baseball and softball teams, the Governors and Lady Governors. The Alabama Community College System includes Wallace.

How To Apply for Wallace Community College Application for Admission 2022;
We have changed our admissions process to ensure that we’re removing as many barriers as possible to Wallace Community College enrollment. We propose that you follow the processes outlined below in the Admissions section:
STEP 1: Submit an Admissions Application
Submit an Admissions Application. You may send an online application or a paper application to the following address:

STEP 2. Submit an Official Photo ID
We recommend that you take a picture of your driver’s license and email it to admissions@wallace.edu.
STEP 3a. Submit proof of high school graduation/GED completion
Request an official high school transcript with the date of graduation or an official GED transcript to obtain proof of high school graduation. Send an authentic transcript from your high school or agency to one of the addresses listed above.
STEP 3b. Submit college transcripts only if you attended another college
Official transcripts from each institution or university you’ve attended are required. All official transcripts must be mailed to one of the addresses listed above.
STEP 4. Apply for Financial Aid (optional)
File your FASFA at www.fafsa.ed.gov using School Code 001018.
STEP 5. Select a virtual SOAR session prior to selecting your classes.
SOAR stands for Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration at the College. You’ll get information on how to transfer to college, find out about resources, talk to people from different departments, meet your academic advisor, and register for classes.

STEP 6. Pay Tuition and Fees via online using a credit card or financial aid
All tuition and fees must be paid by the first day of classes. Registration is not complete without full payment.

STEP 7. Purchase Books and Supplies
Students will make an appointment with the WCC Bookstore to purchase textbooks and course materials. Course supply lists and more instructions pertaining to this process will be sent to student email accounts leading up to the start of each semester.
