Motheo TVET College Nsfas Application Date 2023

Do you wish to study or are already studying at a Motheo Tvet college and come from a family with an income of R350 000 or less, then apply for Nsfas. NSFAS is a government entity under the Department of Higher Education and Training established according to the NSFAS Act (Act 56 of 1999) to provide financial support to disadvantaged students who wish to further their studies at public universities or TVET colleges.

For students who are currently studying at Motheo Tvet College but are having financial challenges, from the 2nd of November 2022, Nsfas will open their applications for all South Africans to apply for the bursary. The Nsfas applications will be closing on the 7th of February 2023. The application date may not be extended therefore, apply before the application deadline.

The 2023 online application window for Nsfas sat Motheo Tvet College will be open from the 2nd of November 2022 and the application will be closing on the 7th of February 2023. There may be no date extension for this year, therefore applicants must apply within the  Nsfas application date.

 

Who Qualifies For Motheo TVET College Nsfas 2023

Applicants applying for Nsfas must fall under the following:

  • All South African citizens
  • All SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
  • Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 per annum
  • A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 per annum
  • Students who started studying before 2018 whose household income is not more than R122 000 per annum.

What Does The Nsfas Bursary Cover For Motheo Tvet College Students

Applicants who are approved for NSFAS funding are covered for the following:
  • Registration
  • Tuition​
Allowances for:
  • Food
  • Accommodation or transport
  • Learning material
  • Personal care

 

Motheo TVET College Nsfas Application Requirements 2023

The following documents are needed for NSFAS Application:

  • Original copies of Identity Document/Birth Certificate
  • Original Academic Results Latest
  • Proof of parent’s income (If parent/s employed)
  • Death Certificate/s (If parent/s deceased)
  • Doctor’s Certificate (If permanently disabled)

Motheo TVET College Nsfas Application Procedure 2023

Motheo Tvet College students applying for Nsfas Bursary must follow the process below:

  • Go to www.nsfas.org.za
  • Clicck on myNsfas Tab
  • Click on register
  • Tick the box to allow Nsfas to verify your details
  • Capture your ID number as it is stated on your ID documents
  • Type in your full name and surname as indicated on the ID
  • Enter your current and functioning email address
  • Confirm your email address
  • Enter your cell phone number
  • Create a password for yourself
  • Confirm the password you generated
  • Upload your ID copy
  • Click on Register to apply
  • An OTP will be sent to the email and phone number you provided ( the OTP will expire within 24hrs)
  • Type in the OTP and click on SUBMIT
  • Your Nsfas application has been successfully completed
