Mastering the Motheo TVET College NSFAS Application for 2025/2026:
Do you wish to study or are already studying at a Motheo Tvet college and come from a family with an income of R350 000 or less, then apply for Nsfas. The NSFAS Bursary Cover For Motheo Tvet College Students; Applicants who are approved for NSFAS funding are covered by the following:
- Accommodation in an urban area is R24,000 per annum
- Accommodation in a peri-urban area is R18,900 per annum
- Accommodation in a rural area is R15,750 per annum
- Transport (up to 40 km from the institution) R7,350 per annum
- Transport R7000 per annum
- Incidental/personal care allowance R2900 per annum

The following is the application date open and the closing date for Nsfas at the Motheo Tvet College for the year 2025-2026:
- MotheoTVET College Nsfas Application Date 2025: Students of Motheo TVET College should start their Nsfas online application process for the 2025-2026 academic year in September 2025.
- Motheo TVET College NsfasApplication Deadline 2025: The Online Nsfas application deadline for Motheo TVET College is in January 2025.
NB: The application date may not be extended therefore, apply before the application deadline.
Who Qualifies For Motheo TVET College Nsfas 2025/2026?
Applicants applying for Nsfas must fall under the following:
- South African citizen who plans to study in 2025 or are already studying at a public university or TVET college.
- South African citizens or permanent residents
- SASSA grant recipients
- Applicants whose combined gross household income is not more than R350 000 per year
- Persons with disabilities whose combined gross household income is not more than R600 000 per year.
- Must have an email account and cell phone number.

Motheo TVET College Nsfas Application Requirements 2025-2026
The following documents are needed for NSFAS Application:
Students with disabilities must provide:
- A completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
Students recognised as vulnerable children must provide:
- An applicant who is recognised as a vulnerable child by the Department of Social Development must provide and Vulnerable Child Declaration form completed by a social worker
Other documents that may be required, if applicable:
- Retrenchment letter
- Death certificate/s
- Divorce Decree
- Proof of legal guardianship
- Marriage certificate
- other documents may be required for appeal purposes,….eg retrenchment letter.

Motheo Tvet College students applying for Nsfas Bursary must follow the process below:
