Requirements For Application: NWSCC Application for Admission 2025-2026
Northwest-Shoals Community College offers an open-door admissions policy for all U.S. citizens, and eligible non citizens. The college provides higher education to those who meet the Alabama Community College system’s minimal entrance exams. Prospective students can submit applications for admission electronically via MyNW-SCC.
During the application process, applicants must submit an unexpired, government-issued photo ID prior to the end of their first semester. Documents can be presented in person or mailed (a copy of the applicant’s unexpired, government-issued photo ID must be included), or you can submit a legible copy electronically.Associate degrees are known as university parallel programs, and they can easily be transferred to a four-year college or university, such as the University of Alabama or UAB, to finish a bachelor’s degree.
Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate in Applied Science, and Associate in Occupational Technology degrees, as well as certificates in occupationally relevant subjects, are all available from the institution. The College does not make any distinctions based on race, colour, age, sex, disability, or national origin.
