Are you a graduate from high school looking for a university to further your education, look no further Oakwood University is here to welcome you.  Apply to gain admission into the institution. Students who are already in different schools can equally apply for the 2025-2026 academic years slot.  Applications and forms should be submitted before the application closing date.

Oakwood University is accredited by the Adventist Accrediting Association, the Association of College Business Schools and Programs, the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education, the Council on Social Work Education; the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education; and the Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA).

As you begin the process of enrolling at Oakwood University, the staff in the Office of Enrollment Management is more than happy to guide you through the admissions process and to answer any questions or address any concerns you might have about the next four years that await you.

The application deadline for the Fall 2025-2026 academic year is in May every academic year.  (if 3/1 lands on a weekend then the Monday after) of each year).

Oakwood University Application Process For Admission 2025-2026

Oakwood is so happy that you have chosen them to prepare you for your future endeavors.  As you begin the process of enrolling at Oakwood University, the authorities in the Office of Enrollment Management are more than happy to lead you through the application and admissions process and to give answers to any questions or address any concerns you might have about the next four years that await you:

 

Applications For Freshmen Applicants

  • Students can apply for admission either online or by requesting a printed application.
  • $25.00 Application Fee — A $25 application fee is required for all applicants (non-refundable).
  • Official copies of applicants’ ACT or SAT scores must be submitted.
  • Applicants must request an official copy of their high school transcripts be provided directly to the Admissions Office.
  • A $200 tuition deposit is necessary to secure your spot in the incoming class.
  • After May deposits are non-refundable.

 

 Applications For Transfer Applicants

  • Transfer applicants (with at least 24 hours of transferable credit) must have the following on file in order to be admitted to Faulkner University:
  • Students can apply for admission either online or by requesting a printed application.
  • $25.00 Application Fee — A $25 application fee is required for all applicants (non-refundable).
  • Transcripts – Applicants must request all official transcripts from each college/university previously attended from the registrar.
  • A $200 tuition deposit is necessary to secure your spot in the incoming class.
  • After May, deposits are non-refundable.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a form that is used to apply for federal student aid such as grants, work-study, and loans. The FAFSA can also be used to apply for state and private help.  001033 is the Oakwood Financial Aid School Code.  At Oakwood University, we provide our students with an endless supply of options to help them pay for their education, including scholarships, grants, and loans, as well as support in preparing them to face the difficulties of their professional future.
