Potential learners who have graduated from high school and are planning to enrol in a University for the 2025-2026 academic year can now start their application with Oakwood University. Oakwood University is now accepting applications from all applicants despite your colour, your family’s financial background, ethnicity etc. The 2025-2026 application closing date for the Fall semester is in May in every academic year. Applicants are to make sure they submit their application before the application closing date.

Oakwood University is an institution that has got accreditation from the Adventist Accrediting Association, the Association of College Business Schools and Programs, the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education, the Council on Social Work Education; the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education; and the Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA).

The officials at the Office of Enrollment Management are more than delighted to guide you through the application and admissions process as you start the enrollment process at Oakwood University and to respond to any inquiries or address any worries you might have about the upcoming four years:

First Time Applicants

Every applicant applying for admission at Oakwood University for the 2025-2026 academic year will have to submit the  following documents:

  • Official copies of applicants’ ACT or SAT scores must be submitted.
  • Applicants must request an official copy of their high school transcripts be provided directly to the Admissions Office.
  • A $200 tuition deposit is necessary to secure your spot in the incoming class.
  • After May 1, deposits are non-refundable.
  • Students can apply for admission either online or by requesting a printed application.
    $25.00 Application Fee — A $25 application fee is required for all applicants (non-refundable).

Applications For Transfer Applicants

  • Transfer applicants (with at least 24 hours of transferable credit) must have the following on file in order to be admitted to Faulkner University:
  • Students can apply for admission either online or by requesting a printed application.
  • $25.00 Application Fee — A $25 application fee is required for all applicants (non-refundable).
  • Transcripts – Applicants must request all official transcripts from each college/university previously attended from the registrar.
  • A $200 tuition deposit is necessary to secure your spot in the incoming class.
  • After May 1, deposits are non-refundable.
