Mnambithi TVET College was born in 2002 from the merger of the Ladysmith Technical College, Ezakheni Technical College, Ezakheni Ex-college of Education and Ezakheni Skills Centre. Mnambithi TVET College is situated in Ladysmith and Estcourt in the KwaZulu-Natal midlands. Its catchment areas are Estcourt, Weenen, Bergville, Winterton, Pomeroy, Msinga, Dundee, Van Reneen, Mooi River, Greytown and Ladysmith surroundings.

The functions of the Business Unit are to co-ordinate and facilitate training programmes to promote local economic development. These programmes are mainly funded the Department of Economic Development.

  • Practical Skills Training (Brick Laying, Carpentry, Hospitality, Motor vehicle Maintenance, Welding and Basic Computers)

Ladysmith TVET College Requirements

All applicants applying to the College are to submit the required documents as stated on the application form. The following are the required documents:

South African Citizen Requirement;

  • Certified copy of your Identity Document
  • An Original or a valid copy of your latest school report/qualification
  • Certified copies of ID of parent/guardian.
  • A unique Email address as well as a cellphone number

International Applicants Requirements

  • Certified copy of Passport as well as Visa
  • Study/work permit
  • Qualifications upon registration
  • The original or a certified copy of your ID.
  • The original or a certified copy of your latest school report / qualification.
  • R100 application fee.
  • Complete the placement assessment.

What do you need to register?

  • The original or a certified copy of your ID.
  • The original or a certified copy of your latest school report / qualification.
  • Students not qualifying for a bursary must deposit 25% of their fees on registration.
  • Students not qualifying for a bursary must complete and sign a student fee contract (person responsible for payment of the tuition fees).
  • Students qualifying for a bursary must have a provisional bursary acceptance letter Placement letter.
