As a leading provider of Education and Training in mainly Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), the College of Cape Town has much to offer students and prospective partners as an alternative to General Education and Training. In each academic year, the College officially welcomes newly registered students at each Campus per its academic opening, this event allows the new students to see the College Executive, lecturing staff and support staff.
The college offers courses and programs in the national vocational certificate, and national diploma programmes and reports 191 courses. The college also offers N4 – N6 in Art & Design. This course offers students the opportunity to specialise in the fields of graphic design, photography or graphic processes. This course consists of an N4 Certificate, N5 Certificate and N6 Certificate.
Programmes offered are technical and vocational in nature which means the student is well prepared in their various skilled careers, so after their graduation they are well equipped for the job market and also find it easy in finding jobs. Art & Design, Beauty Therapy, Building & Civil Engineering, Business Studies, Education & Training, Electrical Engineering, Haircare, Hospitality, Mechanical Engineering, Travel & Tourism as well as Information Technology are the courses that are offered.
