Students who are enrolled at Umfolozi Tvet College can apply for the Nsfas bursary for 2023 from the 28th of September 2022. Umfolozi Tvet College is one of the fifty registered Tvet Colleges in South Africa. The College college is known for its rich courses and programmes offered. Many of the courses offered are technical and vocational in nature which means students don’t only get the theoretical knowledge of a course but also the practical knowledge which also empowers students for the job market ahead of them.
Oftentimes, many say the cost of tertiary education is very high, so it is only the rich that make it to colleges and universities. Partially true, but in other to eradicate that notion and bridge the gap between the rich and the poor, the South African Government has empowered an agency called NSFAS which operates under the auspices of the Department of Higher Education and training to provide financial support to SA citizens who want to study but are financially challenged.
