Umfolozi TVET Nsfas Application
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) requires the personally identifiable information of the employment status agencies and the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) requires the personal information of the employment status agencies and the level of income of the applicant’s parents or guardians.
NSFAS is focused on ensuring the confidentiality of personal information obtained from external parties and to the protection of the privacy of persons whose individual information can be accessed to NSFAS.
Under the Department of Higher Education and Training, NSFAS is a public body. NSFAS offers financial support to deserving students at TVET colleges and public universities through research financial aid.
The funding encompasses the expense of admission, tuition and allowances for supplies for learning, food, personal care, transportation or lodging.
- SA identity document/card or and unabridged birth certificate
- ID’s of parents/guardian or death certificates (where applicable)
- ID’s of each person living with you in your home
- Pay advice/letter of employment/pension advice ( not older than 3 months)

How to Apply
- Online applications (www.nsfas.org.za) from the beginning of August to end of November each year
- Communication is via cell phone, applicants are advised to keep their cell phones
