The College comprises eight campuses or branches. Thekwini TVET College provides top-quality vocational, technical and stylish corporate education and training programs to empower its students with skills and knowledge to contribute meaningfully to the growth of South Africa.
Thekwini TVET College offers a wide range of courses crafted to equip students with practical skills and theoretical knowledge. The courses are grouped into National Certificate (Vocational) and Report 191 (NATED) programs.

Thekwini TVET College Courses Requirements 2025
The admission requirements for NATED AND NCV courses are listed below;
- A year-end school report for Grades 9, 10, 11 or 12, or
- An NQF Level 1 qualification, or
- An approved bridging programme designed for the specific purpose of accessing NQF Level 2, or
- A Recognition of Prior Learning (RLP) assessment to meet the basic requirements for access to NQF Level 2.
- For N1 – Grade 12
- N2- Grade 12 Certificate with A Pass in Mathematics and Physical Science
- For N4 – N3
- For N2 – N1
- For N5 – N4
- For N3 – N2 /Technical Grade 12
- For N6 – N5

Thekwini TVET College Courses And Application Requirements 2025
- 4 valid copies of the student Identity Document
- 2 authorized copies of the parent’s / guardian’s Identity Document or death certificates
- 1 Certify copy of the Identity Document / Birth Certificate for each dependent in the house
- 1 Certify copy of parent’s / guardians’ latest pays lip, grant slip or affidavit as proof of income
- 1 Certify copy of highest qualification
- 1 Proof of residence
- An application or motivational letter was written by an applicant applying for a bursary

Follow the steps below to apply online for public management courses at the college;
- Get an application form from the official website of the college.
- Complete the form and submit it online along with All of the required documentation
- Ensure that you submit your form before the closing date
- Qualifying applicants will then be submitted to the Mthashana College Bursary Committee for consideration.
- Bursaries will be awarded based on financial need and Academic performance within the confines of the funds allocated to the College by the Department of Higher Education and Training.
