SASSA is an abbreviation for the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA). It’s the government agency in South Africa that handles social security services, including payments in South Africa. Sassa Payment For July 2023-2024 Application Requirements

If you are applying for Sassa grants in July 2023, you need to attach to your application the following documents:

•     ID document of the child
•     Proof of address
•     Proof of income and assets
•     Three (3) months bank statement
•     ID document of caregiver
•     Latest medical information about the care-dependent child

 

Applicants will need to provide the following information;

• Identity Number or Department of Home Affairs Refugee permit number
• Name and Surname as captured in the Identity Document
• Gender and Disability
• Contact details – Cell phone number
• Residential Address

SASSA Payments Qualification For July 2023-2024

According to the Department of Social Developments of South Africa, here are guidelines to know if you qualify for SASSA grants:

• It would be best to be a South African national or a permanent resident.
• You must be a resident of South Africa.
• You are not eligible for any other social grant.
• In a governmental institution, you might not get the care you need.
• If you are single, you cannot make more than R78 120, and if you are married, you cannot earn more than R156 240.
• If you’re single, your assets can’t exceed R1 115 400, and if you’re married, they can’t exceed R2 230 800.

How To Check The Status For My SASSA SRD Payout For July 2023-2024

Follow the process listed below to check the status of your Sassa payout for July 2023:

 

• Follow the link https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status (This link will send you directly to the web page for checking the application status) or you can as well visit the official homepage of the SRD R350 https://srd.sassa.gov.za and scroll down to the place asking you to check your status and click on that label.

 

• In the text boxes provided, enter the 13-digit ID number and the cell phone number that was used to apply.

 

• Click on the submit button and patiently wait for the page to fully load.

 

• On the status dashboard, the months that your application is active start with the current month.

 

• Click on the month you want to see its status, and a drop-down menu will show you if your application for that particular month is pending, approved, or declined.   status check

 

• If you are approved, check if it has a pay date. The pay date is the day your bank account or post office account will be credited. For those using a bank account, expect an SMS alert when the bank finally deposits the grant.

• If your application status shows declined, a reason for the decline will be written against the decline reason section. According to SASSA, an applicant who feels his or her application was unduly declined, can appeal or apply for reconsideration within 30 days from the date of the decline.   R350 grant Payment

• uif registered,
• nsfas registered,
• debtor,
• referred,
• identity verification failed etc.
