The National Certificate (Vocational) is offered at Levels 2, 3 and 4 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).  The qualification is designed to provide both theory and practical experience in a particular vocational field.  The practical component of the study may be offered in the workplace or a simulated workplace environment. Students have the opportunity to experience work situations during the period of study.

Northern Cape Urban TVET College NATED Courses

This National Diploma is of the same standard and value as that of any diploma obtained by a student after 3 years of study anywhere. The advantage of obtaining a diploma in this manner is that thousands of rands are saved and, after 18 months, the student has hands-on experience of what is expected of an employer in that field. This diploma is presented to the student at a prestigious award ceremony held annually by the College in May.

  • Student’s ID
  • School report/Statement of results.
  • Parents/guardian(s) ID
  • Salary slips of both parents/guardian(s) or affidavit stating income(s).
  • Proof of residential address of parent/guardian(s).
  • Address of student during studies.
  • Copy of deposit slip.
  • Completed bursary application forms.

Step 4:  Waiting for a response

Once you have submitted your application form, please allow sufficient time for the application to be verified and sent to the relevant Programme Manager before inquiring about the status of your application.
