How To Apply To Northern Cape Urban TVET College
Northern Cape Urban TVET College is a Technical Vocational Education and Training establishment in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa. Northern Cape Urban TVET College is a result of three previous specialized schools( for example Moremogolo Technical College, R C Elliott Technical College and Northern Cape Technical College). The College involves three fundamental grounds just as two convenience sites(hostel).
Student Registration
Documentation needed for registration and bursary application
Registration:
- Registration forms to be completed in black ink.
- Please provide correct and valid information especially cell numbers of student and parents/guardian(s).
- Completed registration form and payment form (signed by parent/guardian & student) for College and Hostel (if applicable).
One original certified copies of the following:
- Student’s ID
- School report/Statement of results.
- Parents/guardian(s) ID
- Salary slips of both parents/guardian(s) or affidavit stating income(s).
- Proof of residential address of parent/guardian(s).
- Address of student during studies.
- Copy of deposit slip.
- Completed bursary application forms.
Bursary application:
- Apply online – www.nsfas.org.za
- Electronic version of certified documents
- Student’s ID
- Proof of marital status of married divorced or widowed
- Parents/guardian(s) ID
- ID of each family member in a household
- Salary slips of both parents/guardian(s) or affidavit stating income(s).
- Proof of residential address of parent/guardian(s).
- If parents/guardians are deceased – supply death certificate
- Statement of results of new students
- Proof of residential and study address.
Northern Cape Urban TVET College Admission Requirement
NATIONAL CERTIFICATE VOCATIONAL – NC (V)
To be accepted for the following NC (V) Programs you must have:
Safety in Society:
Minimum passed grade 12 or repeating
Office Administration:
Grade 12, 11, 10 or 9
Tourism:
Grade 12, 11, 10 or 9
Finance, Economics and Accounting:
Grade 12, 11, 10 or 9 with Accounting
Civil Engineering & Building Construction:
Min passed Grade 12 or repeating with mathematics
Electrical Infrastructure Construction:
Min passed Grade 12 or repeating with mathematics
Engineering & Related Design:
Min passed Grade 12 or repeating with Mathematics
NATIONAL CERTIFICATE
To be accepted for the following NATED programs you must have:
National Senior Certificate
NQF Level 4
Financial Management:
National Senior Certificate with Accounting
Engineering:
National Senior Certificate with Mathematics
LEARNERSHIP
The Business Unit organizes various accredited and non-accredited part-time and full-time courses on demand such as:
- Hairdressing: NQF Level 2-4 (Duration 1 year per level)
- Early Childhood Development: ECD Level 4 – 5 (Duration 1year per level)
- Business Administration: Level 4 (Duration 1 year per level)
- Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) SA: Level 4 (Duration 1 year per level)
- New Venture Creation: Level 4 (Duration 1 year per level)
