ASSISTANT DIRECTOR — OFFICE ADMINISTRATION IN THE OFFICE OF THE PRINCIPAL (SL9)

SALARY: R 382,245.00 per annum

CENTRAL OFFICE – REF: NKC/2025/07/01

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Recognized National Diploma (NQF 6) in Public Management, Office Management, or a related field
  • Law qualification (advantageous)
  • 3-5 years of relevant supervisory experience in strategic planning and administration
  • Knowledge of Public Service legislation and policies, PSET, TVET/CET Administration, Higher Education sector, and corporate governance
  •  Skills in planning, organizing, financial management, report writing, communication, interpersonal relations, problem-solving, computer literacy
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Duties:
  • Coordinate and implement the strategic plan and evaluate target plans
  • Compile institutional performance and strategic reports
  • Provide administrative and executive support to the Principal’s office
  • Manage the workflow in the Principal’s office for effective and efficient college management
  • Provide secretariat support to Governance structures
  • Maintain and communicate the calendar for scheduling meetings with Governance structures

SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR (SL 8)

SALARY: R 321,543 per annum

CENTRAL OFFICE – REF: NKC/2025/07/02

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Three-year National Diploma/Degree in Internal Auditing or relevant qualification majoring in Auditing at NQF level 6 (SAQA recognized)
  •  Minimum of three (3) years of internal auditing experience, with one (1) to two (2) years at a supervisory level
  •  Valid driver’s license
  • Membership with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA SA)

EDUCATION SPECIALISTS (PL 2)

SALARY: R 347,703 per annum

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Recognized Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in the relevant field of study plus a professional qualification in Education
  • Minimum of three (3) years lecturing experience within the NET Sector
  • Qualified assessor and moderator
  • Registered with SACE
  • Extensive knowledge of Report 191 and NC(V) programmes
  • Sound communication skills

Duties:

  • Liaise with lecturers, Heads of Departments, and student support officers to provide intervention support to students
  • Assist with recruitment and induction of students

  • Ensure classroom management and discipline of students
  • Assist students with career path choices and study methods
  • Support students in developing job-hunting skills
