Faulkner University a private Christian liberal arts university located in Montgomery, Alabama.  The University’s aim is to offer an education anchored  by character and service. All potential students and transfer students are invited to apply for the 2025-2026 academic year. The 2025 application for the spring semester opens from January  2025 – May 2025.

Regular admission to baccalaureate (four-year) programs is given to high school graduates  who are qualified. For 2025 applicants with a minimum 2.75 GPA OR English and math ACT sub scores of 18 or higher (SAT equivalents) can receive unconditional admission. Applicants will be considered for conditional admission when they do not meet either of these requirements.

Faulkner University Admission Requirements 2025-2026

Faulkner will be test-optional for 2025 meaning an applicant can pursue admission with or without ACT, SAT, or CLT scores.

Regular admission to baccalaureate (four-year) programs is granted to qualified high school graduates.  For 2025, applicants with a minimum 2.75 GPA OR English and math ACT subs cores of 18 or higher (SAT equivalents) can receive unconditional admission.  Applicants who do not meet either of these requirements will be considered for conditional admission.

A qualified high school graduate is one who has completed a minimum of 15 units (three in English; nine in such academic subject areas as mathematics, science, social science and foreign language; and the remaining three in other courses) with at least a “C” average.

Applicants who have not completed high school may be admitted on the basis of the General Education Development Test (GED). Applicants who have passed the GED examination should contact Admissions for more information.

Super-scoring will also be utilized in 2025. For example, if an applicant has taken the ACT three times, the highest sub scores from each test will be utilized to create the best possible composite score. Admissions counsellors are happy to assist in the calculating of superstores.

Faulkner University Admission Application Process 2025-2026

To gain admission to Faulkner University, applicants must have on file the following:

Application form

  • Students may apply online or request a paper application.

Fees

  • All applications must be accompanied by a $25 application fee (non-refundable).

Transcripts

  • Applicants must request that official copies of their high school transcripts be sent directly to the Admissions Office. Transfer students must also have official transcripts sent by the registrar of each college/university previously attended.

ACT or SAT score

Due to challenges related to COVID-19, admission requirements have been temporarily adjusted for undergraduate applicants. Faulkner will be test-optional for 2025 meaning an applicant can pursue admission with or without ACT, SAT, or CLT scores.

 

ACT & SAT Scores are still being accepted to assist with accurate class placement for incoming students and certain scholarship opportunities. Please refer to the General Admissions of 2023 for information regarding its use in admission acceptance or contact your Admissions Counsellor

To reserve your space in the incoming class, a $200 tuition deposit is required. Deposits are not refundable after May 1.
