What You Need To Know: Alabama A&M University Admission 2025-2026
The Alabama A&M University is now open for applications for the 2025-2026 academic year. Applicants applying to the university should begin their application process while the application window is open. The fall application closing date is in July 2025. Applicants applying to the University are to pay an application fee. All applicants are entreated to submit their applications as early as possible, especially international applicants, to allow the maximum amount of time to process the required paperwork.
Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University offer more than 60 undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs and concentrations, a diverse international faculty, 50 plus student organizations, and an extensive alumni network comprised of politicians, educators, entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, engineers, scientists, authors, artist, and more. Many of them are change agents on the local, national and international stages.
Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University are committed to admitting students whose academic records indicate a high potential for success. The University, consistent with its mission, is dedicated to providing higher education access and opportunity. We recognize that some students have the potential for success not clearly evident through test scores alone.
In other for an applicant to be admitted into the University, one must have a Composite Predictive Index (CPI) score of 18 or higher. The CPI score combines the high school grade point average (GPA) and ACT/SAT scores. The GPA, however, cannot be lower than 2.0. If you do not initially meet admission requirements to be entirely accepted, you must have a minimum CPI score of 16 for conditional acceptance.

Alabama A&M University Application Process For 2025-2026
In most cases, at least two months before the application deadline, a completed application, and a registration fee of $45.00 must be paid. You can create an account and log in to your online application as many times as necessary before submitting your application for admission. Be sure to include a valid e-mail address on your application for admission, as Alabama A&M University only uses email as the primary method of communication. Before you begin your application process, please read the instructions below.
- You must create a login name to start the application process.
- To do so, click the “Apply to AAMU” link at the bottom of the application screen to create your login name and password.
- Your login name will be needed to access your application in the future. Please write it down and store it in a safe place.
- You must also have a valid email address to complete the application. All official communications will be sent to that email address until your AAMU email address is created.
- Please pay attention to your time. After twenty (20) minutes of inactivity, your application session will expire. If that happens, do not submit another application. Instead, Undergraduate admissions send an email to admissions@aamu.edu; Graduate admissions send an email to gradschool1@aamu.edu; Transfer and International Students send an email to ccrgi@aamu.edu.
- Be sure that you will be able to complete your application in one sitting. The application will close once you click the submit button and you will not be able to return to the application.
- Do not click “submit” until you are confident that all changes or corrections have been entered. If you realize that you have forgotten or omitted information, please do not enter a second application.
