Applications for Nsfas 2025-2026 are done strictly online. All applicants are to visit the online application portal of Nsfas, download the application form, and fill it out by providing all required documents and submitting it before the application deadline. College of Cape Town Nsfas application will be open from September 2024 and will be closing in January 2025.
College of Cape Nsfas Application Eligibility 2025-2026
You qualify to apply for NSFAS at the College of Cape if you meet the following requirements;
- South African citizen who plans to study in 2025 or are already studying at a public university or TVET college
- South African citizens or permanent residents
- SASSA grant recipients
- Applicants whose combined gross household income is not more than R350 000 per year
- Persons with disabilities whose combined gross household income is not more than R600 000 per year.
- Must have an email account and cell phone number.
Documents Required To Apply For NSFAS At College Of Cape 2025/2026
To be deemed acceptable for processing, a student’s bursary application form must include the following:
Students with disabilities must provide:
- A completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
Students recognised as vulnerable children must provide the following:
- An applicant who is recognised as a vulnerable child by the Department of Social Development must provide a Vulnerable Child Declaration form completed by a social worker
Other documents that may be required, if applicable:
- Retrenchment letter
- Death certificate/s
- Divorce Decree
- Proof of legal guardianship
- Marriage certificate
- other documents may be required for appeal purposes,….eg retrenchment letter.
