The online application is for fresh and continuing students to Wallace Community College. If you started an online application already, you will need to login using the username and password you created when started the process.  The online application is open for undergraduate students to apply for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Wallace Community College Application Requirements For Admission 2025-2026

Applicants who have not previously attended a duly accredited postsecondary institution are designated, first-time college students or native students. For unconditional admission and to be classified as degree eligible, applicants must have on file at the institution a completed application for admission and at least one of the following criteria.

  • An official high school transcript showing graduation.
  • An official GED® Certificate is issued by the appropriate state education agency.

 

Wallace Community College Application Fees For 2025-2026

All students are required to pay tuition and application fees according to dates published in registration schedules.  Sponsored students whose tuition and fees are paid by agencies such as Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Department of Veterans Affairs, and Title IV Grants must have written authorization on file to be exempt from personal payment.

In-state Tuition. In state, tuition is $129 per semester hour.

Out-of-state Tuition. Out-of-state tuition is two times the in-state tuition per credit hour.  Wallace Community College allows in-state tuition for certain neighboring Florida and Georgia residents.  Out-of-state tuition rate applies to internet courses.

 

Note: Tuition and application fees at Wallace Community College are subject to change at the beginning of any term and prior to or during the 2025-2026 academic year as a result of state budget proration and other factors beyond the College’s control.

Wallace Community College Application Process For Admission 2025-2026

Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Wallace has modified our admissions process while ensuring that we remove several barriers to enrolling at Wallace Community College. It is recommended that you follow these Admissions steps below:

  • STEP 1. Apply for Admissions

Submit an Application for Admission. You may submit an application online.

 

  • STEP 2. Submit an Official Photo ID

We recommend that you take a picture of your driver’s license and email it to admissions@wallace.edu.

 

  • STEP 3a. Submit proof of high school graduation/GED completion


Acquire proof of high school graduation by requesting an official high school transcript which indicates the date of graduation or an official GED transcript. Have the high school or agency mail an official transcript to one of the above addresses.

  • STEP 3b. Submit college transcripts only if you attended another college

Request official transcripts from each college/university you have attended. All official transcripts must be sent directly from the college/ university to one of the above addresses or via an electronic credentialing service such as Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, or Scribbles.

  • STEP 4. Apply for Financial Aid (optional)


File your FASFA at https://studentaid.gov/ using School Code 001018.

 

  • STEP 5. Select a SOAR session prior to selecting your classes. Click the link to register for SOAR.

SOAR is the College’s Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration event. You will receive information to transition to college, learn about resources, converse with various department personnel, meet your academic advisor, and register for classes.

  • STEP 6. Pay Tuition and Fees via online using a credit card or financial aid

All tuition and fees must be paid by the first day of classes. Registration is not complete without full payment.

 

  • STEP 7. Purchase Books and Supplies

Students will make an appointment with the WCC Bookstore to purchase textbooks and course materials. Course supply lists and more instructions pertaining to this process will be sent to student email accounts leading up to the start of each semester.

 

  • STEP 8. Attend your classes
