Applications for admissions are opened for the 2025-2026 academic year. Understanding the admission process is important for potential applicants aiming to join the university. Undergraduate Admission
UCF undergraduate admission varies depending on whether the applicant is either a freshman, transfer or international student.
Freshman Admission
A freshman is a high school senior or first-time-in-college student seeking a bachelor’s degree.
UCF Freshman Admission Requirement
1. Completed Self-Provided Academic Record for Knights “SPARK” Form; Students who have already completed high school must submit a current official high school or home-school transcript
2. Official SAT [code: 5233] or ACT [code: 0735] score
3. Official GED or TOEFL/IELTS score, if applicable
4. Application essay (strongly encouraged but not needed)
5. $30 nonrefundable application fee
6. Completed online application
Transfer Admission
The transfer is also an undergraduate or direct connection to UCF students transferring with existing credits.
UCF Transfer Admission Requirement
1. Official transcripts from all colleges attended
2. Official transcripts from high school, if applicable
3. Official SAT [code: 5233] or ACT [code: 0735] score
4. All official AICE, AP, CLEP, and IB scores, if applicable

International Admission
UCF international student is a non-U.S. citizen seeking an undergraduate degree. The following steps and documents below are applicable to international students only.

Step 1. Complete and submit the online application. A non-refundable fee of $30 is required when submitting an application.
Step 2. Submit required academic documents. The academic documents required will vary based on your entry-level whether freshman or transfer.

The graduate application for admission is available online. All required materials must be submitted by the set deadline.
Admission Deadline: Applicants who plan to enrol full-time in a degree program and who wish to be considered for university fellowships or assistantships should apply by January or earlier.
Transcripts: All applicants, regardless of program, are required to provide one transcript from each college/university attended.
Admissions Test: If required, the specific test will be explicitly stated in the “Admissions Requirements” section of the program.
Program Prerequisites: Many programs may require prerequisites. If required, they will be listed on UCF’s Graduate Catalog page for your specific program.
