Thekwini TVET College Courses Requirements 2025

The admission requirements for NATED AND NCV courses are listed below;

• A year-end school report for Grades 9, 10, 11 or 12, or
• An NQF Level 1 qualification, or
• An approved bridging programme designed for the specific purpose of accessing NQF Level 2, or
• A Recognition of Prior Learning (RLP) assessment to meet the basic requirements for access to NQF Level 2.
• For N1 – Grade 12
• N2- Grade 12 Certificate with A Pass in Mathematics and Physical Science
• For N4 – N3
• For N2 – N1
• For N5 – N4
• For N3 – N2 /Technical Grade 12
• For N6 – N5

• 4 valid copies of the student Identity Document
• 2 authorized copies of the parent’s / guardian’s Identity Document or death certificates
• 1 Certify copy of the Identity Document / Birth Certificate for each dependent in the house
• 1 Certify copy of parent’s / guardians’ latest pays lip, grant slip or affidavit as proof of income
• 1 Certify copy of highest qualification
• 1 Proof of residence
• An application or motivational letter was written by an applicant applying for a bursary

• Ensure that you submit your form before the closing date
• Qualifying applicants will then be submitted to the Mthashana College Bursary Committee for consideration.
• Bursaries will be awarded based on financial need and Academic performance within the confines of the funds allocated to the College by the Department of Higher Education and Training.
