Admission Requirements for Northern Cape Urban TVET College Application 2026-2027

Below are the admission requirements for our NC(V), National Diploma, Learnership, and Skills programs:

NC(V) Programs

To be accepted into the following NC(V) programs, applicants must meet these requirements:

The minimum requirement for all NC(V) programs is Grade 9.
For Finance, Economics, and Accounting, you must have passed Accounting as a subject.

National Diploma (NATED Programs) 

To be accepted into the following NATED programs:

Your AP Score will be considered upon registration.
Applicants must have a National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4).
For Financial Management, you must have a National Senior Certificate including Accounting.

Learnership Programs

The Business Unit offers a range of accredited and non-accredited part-time and full-time courses on demand:

Hairdressing: NQF Level 2–4 (1 year per level)
Early Childhood Development (ECD): Level 4–5 (1 year per level)
Business Administration: Level 4 (1 year)
Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) SA: Level 4 (1 year)
New Venture Creation: Level 4 (1 year)
