Who Is Eligible To Apply For NSFAS at NCR TVET?
The following are the categories of persons aligned by the Department of Higher Education and Training of South Africa to receive the NSFAS funds:
- South African citizen who plans to study in 2026 or are already studying at a public university or TVET college
- South African citizens or permanent residents
- SASSA grant recipients
- Applicants whose combined gross household income is not more than R350 000 per year
- Persons with disabilities whose combined gross household income is not more than R600 000 per year.
- Must have an email account and cell phone number.
NCR TVET Nsfas Application Requirements 2026-2027
To apply for Nsfas at Northern Cape Rural TVET College, applicants are to have the following documents :
Students with disabilities must provide:
- A completed and signed Disability Annexure Form. Please ensure that the medical report is merged with this disability annexure when you create a file to submit with your application.
*Students must download the NSFAS 2026 Consent form:
- NSFAS reserves the right to validate all information and details provided by the applicant and parent/guardian/spouse against an independent third-party data source.
Students must download the NSFAS Orphan or Vulnerable Child Declaration form:
- This form is only to be completed by applicants who are under the age of 18 and who are orphans OR who are vulnerable children in that they have been exposed to abuse, neglect, exploitation, risk of violence and substance abuse.
Students must download the NSFAS Declaration form:
- This form only applies to applicants who are 34 years old or younger. This form is used to verify parental/guardian details.
Other documents that may be required, if applicable:
- Retrenchment letter
- Death certificate/s
- Divorce Decree
- Proof of legal guardianship
- Marriage certificate
- Other documents may be required for appeal purposes, eg retrenchment letter
