Mnambithi TVET College Nated Courses 2025

The Mnambithi TVET College offers Report 191 (Nated Courses) from Engineering Courses N1 – N6, Business Studies N4 – N6, Utility Studies N4 – N6 and Short Skills Courses. The college is positioned to service mostly the rural communities of Bergville, Estcourt, Msinga, Pomeroy, Greytown, Mooi River and Ladysmith and its catchment area. This positioning can be regarded both as advantageous and also as limiting.

In 2007 N1 – N3 was phased out and replaced by the new curriculum called National Certificate Vocational NC(V) was introduced with the following courses: Electrical Infrastructure Construction, Hospitality, Tourism, Finance, Accounting & Economics, Information Technology and Computer Science, Safety in Society, Office Administration and Education & Development. In 2018 a Pre-Vocational Learning Programme (PLP) was introduced by the Department of Higher Education and Training. PLP act as a bridging course for those who do not qualify for NC(V) programmes.

Follow the steps below to apply online for the 2025-2026 academic year;

• Complete  the Career Guidance Exploration and make sure you know which career to choose (You can explore careers and come back  at any time or on another day to complete steps 2 & 3. Just remember to keep your username and password)
• Enter the Profiler System again and complete the Pre-Entry Placement Assessment section
• Complete the Online Application section (and upload documents in PDF format) Without this final step they cannot assess your application. You will be required to upload these into the Application section in digital format such as a PDF, for example. So please have your digital documents ready for upload.
