Ladysmith Specialized College was set up within the early 1960’s beneath the Office of Instruction and Culture. It began by advertising self-enrichment courses for grown-ups. By 1984 the college advertised formal preparation from N1 – N3 commercial courses. In 1991 this was extended to N4 – N6, both in Trade and Building considers.

Mnambithi TVET College was born in 2002 from the merger of the Ladysmith Specialized College, Ezakheni Specialized College, Ezakheni Ex-college of Instruction and Ezakheni Aptitudes Center. Mnambithi TVET College is organized in Ladysmith and Estcourt inside the KwaZulu-Natal midlands. Its catchment ranges are Estcourt, Weenen, Bergville, Winterton, Pomeroy, Msinga, Dundee, Van Reenen, Mooi Conduit, Greytown and Ladysmith environment.

All applicants applying to the College are to submit the required documents as stated on the application form. The following are the required documents:

South African Citizen Requirement;

• Certified copy of your Identity Document
• An Original or a valid copy of your latest school report/qualification
• Certified copies of the ID of parent/guardian.
• A unique Email address as well as a cellphone number

International Applicants

• Certified copy of Passport as well as Visa
• Study/work permit
• Qualifications upon registration
