The Alabama State Board of Education reorganized Enterprise State Junior College in February 2003 to incorporate the Alabama Aviation Centre at Ozark and Mobile.
The Alabama State Board of Education approved a name change for the college to Enterprise State Community College in December 2009, with the Alabama Aviation College, a subsidiary of Enterprise State Community College, as the marketing name for the aviation programs. The last day to pay for preregistration for summer 2023 is May 17, 2025. Payment is due by 4:00 p.m. for pre-registrations received prior to that time. Unpaid pre-registrations will be deleted each day at 4:00 p.m. after these dates.

Our Adult Education program is a one-stop shop where you may earn your GED or high school equivalency, as well as Job Training, ESL, and Family Literacy programs, all at no cost. Whether you need one-on-one tutoring throughout the day or evening, or assistance with basic computer skills, we are here to help.

- In-State Tuition
In-state tuition rates are charges based on residency status as determined by the Alabama Community College Board of Trustees. Residency status is determined upon admission.
- Out-of-State Tuition
The out-of-state tuition rate is two times the in-state tuition rate.
- Bond Surety Fee
A bond surety fee of $1 per credit hour per term is charged; these funds are restricted to the Bond Reserve Fund which is managed by the Chancellor and a Presidents & Advisory Council. The reserve is intended to assist member institutions of the Alabama College System for long-term financing of construction and renovation projects.
- Special Building Fee
A special building fee of $10 per credit hour per term is charged. These funds are restricted to finance bonded indebtedness of the College.
- Facility Renewal Fee
A facility renewal fee of $9 per credit hour per term is charged. These funds are restricted for use on renewal and replacement college facility projects.
- Technology Fee
A technology fee of $9 per credit hour per term is charged. These funds are restricted to the acquisition and provision of technology and technological applications for the College.
- Aviation Application Fee
An aviation fee of $35 per credit hour per term is charged for AMT and AMP classes only. This fee is restricted for use to the Airframe Technology (AMT) and Powerplant Technology (AMP) classes.

Enterprise State Community College FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION PROCESS 2025-2026
Apply for ESCC admission. Make sure to send an official transcript from your high school and any institution you attended before coming to ESCC to Admissions. Transcripts that are “unofficial” or faxed will not qualify. Your aid application will not be evaluated until the Financial Aid department has received and reviewed all transcripts and supporting papers.
Fill out an application for a Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID. You can use your FSA ID to electronically sign your FAFSA and federal loan promissory notes. To sign these documents, parents of dependent students will need their own FSA ID.
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current year. When completing the FAFSA, please list the ESCC school code (001015) as one of the colleges you may attend.
If possible, provide your federal income tax return data using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool within the FAFSA. If your parent’s income tax return data is sought, you should use the Data Retrieval Tool to supply it.
Complete any further forms necessary by ESCC Financial Aid and return them as soon as possible to the appropriate ESCC Financial Aid Office (FAO). Please send your financial aid supporting documentation to the Enterprise Campus Financial Aid Office at P.O. Box 1300, Enterprise, AL 36331-1300 if you are enrolled in classes. 334.347.5569 is the Enterprise FAO fax number.
Please submit your requested financial aid paperwork to the AAC-Ozark Financial Aid Office if you are a student at one of the Alabama Aviation College campuses. Financial Aid Office at 3405 S. US Highway 231, Ozark, AL 36360. The AAC-Ozark FAO fax number is 334.774.0477.
In some cases, you may be required to submit an IRS federal income tax return transcript (IRS Form 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, etc.). If you receive such a request from our office, there are several ways you can request this document. Most of these methods do not require the payment of a fee.
Online: Go to www.irs.gov The IRS generally will mail a transcript to the requestor within 5 to 10 days. Please sign the transcript and submit it to Financial Aid by mail, fax, or hand delivery, or
Smartphone app: Download the free IRS2Go smartphone app and follow the prompts to request a tax return transcript, or call the IRS Transcript request line at 1.800.908.9946. Once received, please sign the transcript and submit it to our office by mail, fax, or hand delivery, or
IRS Form 4506T-EZ. The IRS will usually mail a paper transcript to the requestor within 5 to 10 days. Please sign the transcript and submit it to our office by mail, fax, or hand delivery.
Enterprise State Community College Application Procedure For Admission 2025-2026
All prospective students who want to apply for the Enterprise Community College for the academic year 2025 should go by the steps provided below to apply:
- First-Time Freshman Applicants
Applicants are currently still in high school, just graduated high school or never attended a college before enrolling at ESCC to obtain an associate degree. We encourage you to apply early, and you must apply for financial aid each year by completing the FAFSA available on October 1 online at fafsa.gov.
The scholarship application is available online at escc.edu/scholarships and the deadline to apply is March 1. Scholarships are available for fine arts, athletics, programs, and leadership activities.
- Dual Enrolment Applicants
