What Is  The UTC 2024-2025 Online Application Date

  • UTC Undergraduate Application Date 2024-2025: Applications will be open on 3 April 2023 and close on 31 July 2023 for admission to undergraduate studies at UCT in 2024. Please try to submit your application as soon as possible.

  • No, UTC will not be accepting late applications for undergraduate courses for the academic year 2024-2025. All applications must be submitted by the 31st of July 2023 for the 2024 academic studies. Applications that will be submitted after the given deadline will not be processed.
  • For applicants who would like more information before submitting an application, there is an annual UCT Open Day aimed at high school learners in Grades 10, 11 and 12, their families and teachers. This year UCT Open Day is from 10:00 to 15:00 on Saturday, 13 May 2023

What Is The Application Fee Fo UCT 2024-2025

For each application submitted, an associated fee is typically required. However, there are exemptions in place for current UCT students, university alumni, and applicants for the Semester Study Abroad (SSA) program. The only exception to these exemptions is for applications to programs at the Graduate School of Business (GSB), where the fee is mandatory.   • Undergraduate and postgraduate applications from South Africa and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region will pay an application of R100 for 2024-2025.
  • Undergraduate and postgraduate applications from outside the SADC region are to pay an application fee of R300 for the study year 2024-2025
  • Graduate School of Business (GSB) applications from South Africa and African citizens/residents will pay an amount of R2 070 as an application fee for 2024-2025
  • GSB applications from outside of Africa are to pay an amount of USD 300 as an application fee for the 2024-2025 year

UCT Application Required Documents To Be Submitted For 2024-2025

Applicants are to submit the following documents:

  • Current learners at school must make sure that all examination results from Grade 11 until September of grade 12 are submitted. Failure to submit these results may result in delays.
  • Transferring students should submit all transcripts and academic records as early as possible.
  • Documents must be submitted as certified electronic copies to (undergraduate applicants) or (postgraduate applicants). Please do not send your submissions to both email addresses as this will only delay the processing of your application.

How To Check The Status Of UCT Application 2024-2025

When UCT update your application, you will receive an email communication. Applicants are to monitor their email accounts closely for updates. You can also check your status online with the login credentials that will send to you after you apply. UCT is not permitted to disclose your application status telephonically.
