SWGC Nsfas Bursaries Application Eligibility 2025-2026
Before you will be eligible for bursaries from Nsfas, you will need to be:
- A South African citizen
- SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
- Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 per annum
- A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 per annum
- Students who started studying before 2018 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 per annum.

Academic Documents:
- Certified copy of the applicant’s most recent academic transcript or report card.
- Certified copy of the applicant’s National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent qualification.
Consent and Declaration Forms:
- Consent form signed by the applicant and the parent/guardian, allowing NSFAS to verify the provided information.
- Declaration form signed by the applicant and the parent/guardian, declaring that all the information provided is true and accurate.
Additional Documents:
- Disability certificate (if applicable).
- Death certificate(s) of deceased parent(s) or guardian(s) (if applicable).
- Divorce decree or legal separation document (if applicable).
