Admission Requirements for TVET College Applicants

Before attempting to apply, all qualifying applicants who wish to study at the College must ensure that they have the following items:

  • A unique/valid Email address and cellphone number
  • 3 certified copies of the ID of the Parent/Legal Guardian
  • 3 certified copies of the ID of the Learner
  • South African applicants will need an ID number.
  • Foreign applicants will need their certified copies of passports numbers.
  • Copy of your school qualifications (eg, Senior Certificate)
  • A certified copy of your latest results/Grade 9 or Higher;
  • Proof of Residence.
  • SAQA-approved foreign qualifications
  • Proof of medical insurance or cover
  • Valid study permit

How to Apply Online Application to TVET Colleges In South Africa

Applying online to a TVET college in South Africa is a simple process that you follow these essential steps:

Step 1: Get your application form online

All new applications are now available exclusively online. You must consent to the TVET college using your email address and cellphone number to communicate with you throughout the application process. Be sure to provide a valid, working email address and at least one active cellphone number to receive updates.

Step 2: Complete the application form fully

Fill out the entire form carefully and accurately. Your South African ID, email, and cellphone number will be used to verify your identity, so double-check all information before submitting.

Step 3: Attach all required supporting documents

If you are starting a new qualification, you must submit certified copies of the following:

  • Birth certificate or Identity Document (or proof of new ID/passport application)
  • Relevant certificates and qualifications
  • Recent academic achievements or results
  • Proof of residence, such as a municipal account or billing statement (not older than 3 months)
  • Valid study permit if you are a foreign national student
  • SAQA evaluation certificate for foreign qualifications

Step 4: Submit your application and receive confirmation
