Funding For Tvet Colleges

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges equip individuals with practical skills and knowledge to meet the demands of the job market. However, one significant challenge faced by Tvet college students is securing sufficient funding to provide quality education and training opportunities.

Without funding, Tvet colleges may struggle to provide quality education and training, which can limit the opportunities available to students. This section will look at the various funding sources available to Tvet colleges, including government grants. We will also discuss the eligibility criteria and application processes for each funding.

NSFAS

NSFAS is a government entity under the Department of Higher Education and Training established according to the NSFAS Act (Act 56 of 1999) to provide financial support to disadvantaged students who wish to further their studies at public universities or TVET colleges.
