Capricorn TVET Nsfas Bursary Application Date 2025-2026

Capricorn Tvet College students are to take note of the following Nsfas application dates:

• Capricorn TVET College Nsfas Application Open Date: Capricorn College students must apply for Nsfas in September 2024 for the 2025-2026 academic year.
• Capricorn TVET College Nsfas Application Deadline: The Nsfas online application deadline for Capricorn Tvet College students is January 2025.
• Capricorn Tvet College Nsfas Deadline Extension 2025: The online Nsfas application deadline may be extended to the 31st of January 2025, but it will be very necessary to apply on time to avoid disappointment.

Who Is Eligible To Apply For Nsfas At Capricorn Tvet College 2025-2026?

The Nsfas is regulated by the Department of Higher Education and Training of South Africa, therefore the bursary can be applied to the below-listed categories of persons:

• You qualify for an NSFAS bursary if you are a South African citizen who plans to study in 2025 or you are already studying at a public university or TVET college
• South African citizens or permanent residents
• SASSA grant recipients
• Applicants whose combined gross household income is not more than R350 000 per year
• Persons with disabilities whose combined gross household income is not more than R600 000 per year.
• Must have an email account and cell phone number

Capricorn TVET College Nsfas Online Application Requirements 2025-2026

To apply for the NSFAS bursary, the following documents are needed for NSFAS Application;

Students with disabilities must provide:

• A completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form

Students recognised as vulnerable children must provide:

• An applicant who is recognised as a vulnerable child by the Department of Social Development must provide a Vulnerable Child Declaration form completed by a social worker

Other documents that may be required, if applicable:

• Retrenchment letter
• Death certificate/s
• Divorce Decree
• Proof of legal guardianship
• Marriage certificate
• other documents may be required for appeal purposes,….eg retrenchment letter.
